SunEarth Tank Warranty Extension Kit (Rheem Tanks)

Warranty extension kit for Rheem and Rheem manufactured SunEarth solar water tanks. Only for tanks without heat exchangers. Kit consists of additional anode rod which inserts in hot water outlet of storage tank and a warrany registration card. This kit will extend the warranty of the tank from six years to ten years. Must be installed in tank at time of tank installation.

Important!
As of Summer 2026, Rheem is no longer allowing the installation of the 10 year warranty extension kits in the 80HE and 120HE tanks. This is due to a very small design change in the hot water outlet fitting. The extension kits can still be installed into the 80 gallon and 120 gallon Universal tanks.
